A video from a couple weeks ago that I made documenting an experiment run for my class about ocean exploration! Editing and shooting footage is super fun, now I want to make a ton of videos about everything…

This was my weekend- my group’s project we’re pitching for my sponsored project about ocean exploration: a video game concept!

Never done anything like this before, so it was fun and a big challenge for me. There’s a lot of science involved, and a huge amount of detail regarding what the game would do, I’ll spare you the details for now.

These are all part of one character’s storyline we developed as an example in our coming presentation. Hopefully our concept will be well received.

Whoa!

I just realized that I passed the 75 followers landmark in the last couple days- wee! Thanks everyone for your support. I know it’s not a lot compared to other people, but hey!

A screencap of the first little video I’ve ever made. Shot, edited and orchestrated myself! It’s part of my work in progress for a class focusing on ocean exploration. It’s so fun getting outside my 2D box for once.
A poster about the genesis of punk, created awkwardly enough for a class about ocean exploration. Whatever works, right?
Prints startin’ at $10 if anyone would like one. Just send me a message!
A poster about the mechanics of science fiction I did, strangely for a class about ocean exploration?

Startin’ some new stuff for the summer - I’ve been listening to a lot of old school hip-hop lately, everyone in those videos looks super badass. So it’s time to make a zine dedicated to their innovation, positivity and awesomeness.

Watercolor n’ ink on paper.

My boyfriend and I were messing around in AfterEffects tonight with one of my doodles…hehehe.

Messin’ with coloring some of my little sketches.

Lumi (lumi.co) is an awesome indie printmaking supply company, that makes this rad stuff called inkodye you can use to make prints with sunlight.

I did a project using their materials last term, and was lucky enough to end up being a featured artist in their video series! Its totally surreal. But check it out! I’m so flattered…even though I look like crap in it, ha.

Sketchdump (part 2)! More to come in the future, I’m sure of it. I’ve been having a lot of fun with caricature and exaggeration lately… this might be a new thing for me.

Now that it’s summer I am finally having some time to have fun sketching again- so here we go, my first tumblr sketchdump (part 1)!

Class: Drawing for Illustration with Gayle Donahue

My final installation about entropy, of both the lumitypes and drawings I completed for Gayle’s class- plus a zine, which will be up sometime soon as well!

Class: Drawing for Illustration with Gayle Donahue

Part of my final installation for Gayle’s class, I turned my drawings into lumitypes on silk, embroidered onto printmaking paper.

This particular print was made in company of Lumi, who shot a video of my work using their inkodye process. I’ll post it as soon as it’s available! Wee!
